ARTIST * THEORIST * EDUCATRIX
PROJECTS
As a visual artist, art theorist and art mediator, I engage in performative strategies that are strongly informed by queer feminist thinking and collaborative practices.
Through them I investigate the sociopolitical bonds between body, language, voice, sound, and space, and the way they join each other in constantly changing constellations which I call “choreo:spheres“.
My work is driven by the basic forces of humour and rhythm, dance and music-related choreography and composition are my accomplices. Lately, I have turned my interest towards performative sound installations, ranging from polyphonic sounding as a shared practice to exploring radio as a working tool and artistic medium.
