TENTECHULAR        DIS:PLEASURES

SINCE 2019 (ONGOING)

Sound installations, performances & videos

TENTECHULAR DIS:PLEASURES is an ongoing investigation into tentechular qualities of sound at the interface of analog and digital spaces and materialities.

Starting off in 2019 at Alte Schmiede, Vienna, a first live sound performance was realized in collaboration with Caroline Profanter.

Since then, a series of solo installations and performances have taken place.

The associated performance persona SirenX seek to queer the social reception of voice by means of categories such as gender, origin, age, etc. and obsess about the physical reproduction of electronic sound effects.

Invitation for TENTECHULAR DIS:PLEASURES #2, 2021

                       "TENTECHULAR"*:

 Portmanteau of "tentacular" and "technological"

*Inspired by Donna Haraways concept of  the "tentacular" from

her book "Staying with the Trouble" (2016).

A sensual way of making kin with humans and non-humans
